Food Trade Trends reports on developments, globally, having to do with the farming, production, distribution, and retailing of food as well as food service in restaurants and elsewhere.

Your reporter/analyst, Doug Harris, began following trends in the food field in the early 1980’s, and produced, for a while, a disk-distributed newsletter under the Food Trade Trends name. (It’s unlikely there were many other disk-distributed newsletters  in that age, which was just as the internet was birthing and online communicating was, too.)

He’s been editor of food trade publications in the U.S. and the U.K., and has reported on food-related topics from no fewer than 13 countries for at least 70 publications in more than six countries.
